Track a placed order

Once you place an order, it moves from a draft to a committed state, and the draft order summary becomes the committed order summary.

Item summary

Item previews, allocations, and costs display for each item in the order. Depending on your permissions, you may be able to:

  • Download an item, if you are an editor to the order.

  • Edit an adaptation, if the asset was created from a transform and you have the required audience and are an editor to the order.

  • Remove an allocation, if you have system-level access.

Removing an allocation deletes it instantaneously.

If the order is split across multiple destinations, a message notes this. Editors to the order see a Download all button, which bundles all items into a zip file and downloads it to your files. Select a thumbnail to open a larger preview of the asset and its details.

Order progress

Where a workflow is configured, you can move it through the workflow stages, typically to send it to the supplier for fulfilment. Step through the stages until the order is complete. Any information added or modified updates automatically in the order summary.

A History tab shows the order’s full progression through the workflow.

After you place an order, select Print View in the top right of the view to open a print-friendly version of the order. Select Print Order to save or print a PDF copy of the order details, which you can share with the supplier or other relevant parties.
