Share adaptations

This guide explains how to add approved adaptations to a share, and how to enable a shareable link so people outside Storyteq CMP can download them. Adaptations are shared in the same way as other assets, using shares you may already use for the DAM.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

Add an adaptation to a share

  1. In My Content > Files, select the approved adaptations you want to share.

  2. Select Share.

  3. Add the adaptations to a new or existing share.

You can only add approved adaptations to a share. If your selection includes unapproved adaptations, a message lists the ones that cannot be added and lets you continue with the approved ones.

A shareable link lets people outside Storyteq CMP download the adaptations in a share, without any other access to your workspace.

  1. Go to My Shares and open the share.

  2. On the Overview tab, turn on the Shareable Link toggle.

  3. Select Create & Copy Link to confirm. The link appears below the toggle, with a Copy button.

  4. Send the link to the people who need the adaptations.

They can open the link in a browser to download the files, individually or all at once. They get no other access to your workspace or portals.

  1. Open the share and go to the Overview tab.

  2. Turn off the Shareable Link toggle.

  3. Select Deactivate Link to confirm.

Deactivating a link is permanent. Anyone using the old link loses access immediately. If you enable sharing again, a new link is generated.
