September 2026

Filter assets by file type

2026-09-21 Content Portal

Asset lists had no way to narrow results by file extension, although project grids already could. Use the new File Extensions filter in portal asset lists, Platform Administration > Assets, asset picker dialogs, related assets, and My Shares to show one or more extensions; the filter lists the extensions present in the current view.

2026-09-21 Content Portal

Print adaptations took on the taxonomy values of their template, but promoted digital adaptations did not, so they arrived in Files untagged. When you promote a digital adaptation to My Content > Files, the taxonomy values on its originating digital template are now applied to the new asset.

For further information, refer to Promote adaptations.

Milestones count from the project start date by default

2026-09-21 Collaboration Hub

The Create New Project dialog made you choose what milestones are calculated from, even though almost everyone chooses the project start date. The milestone calculation date now defaults to Project Start Date, and you can still change it to Project End Date or Custom Date.

For further information, refer to Manage project milestones.

Choose which project list pages let people create projects

2026-09-21 Content Portal

The Create New Project button always appeared on project list pages, with no way to hide it where new projects should not start. Turn off Allow Create Project in a project list page’s navigation settings, or in the project search and project listing counter widget settings, to hide the button; it is on by default, so existing pages are unchanged.

See each asset’s state while populating deliverables

2026-09-21 Collaboration Hub

The Populate tab did not show an asset’s state, which made it hard to judge progress while filling deliverables. Each asset’s state now appears under its name and type in the Populate panel, and updates when the state changes.

Send rejected assets back for review without rebuilding the review

2026-09-16 Collaboration Hub

When a review ended with rejected assets, reviewing the revised versions meant setting up a new review from scratch. In a project’s Resources or Deliverables tab, select Re-create Review, choose a completed or aborted review that had rejected assets, and confirm; a draft copy opens in Draft Reviews, ready to edit and send.

2026-09-16 Content Portal

Text, button, and image widgets could not link directly to a specific reviews listing page. In the widget’s internal link settings, choose Reviews as the destination portal, then pick My Adaptation Reviews, All Adaptation Reviews, My Project Reviews, or All Project Reviews; Reviews is listed only in workspaces where reviews are set up.

Lock sub-projects against adds, copies, and deletes at chosen stages

2026-09-16 Collaboration Hub

Stopping people with write access from adding, duplicating, or deleting sub-projects meant removing their write access entirely. An administrator can set a project form’s Sub-Projects tab to Restrict in the form builder; at those stages Add, Duplicate, and Delete are disabled with a tooltip, and existing sub-projects can still be opened and managed.

Find deliverables whose AI tagging failed

2026-09-10 Collaboration Hub

Smart Tagging status pills showed on a deliverable grid, but you could not narrow the grid to, for example, only the assets whose tagging failed. Use the new Smart Tags filter on a deliverable grid, including All Items, to show Failed, Submitted, AI Tagged, or Invalid assets; applying it switches the grid to the tag status view.

Lock a project’s assets tab against adds and deletes

2026-09-10 Collaboration Hub

Stopping people with write access from adding or deleting assets in a particular tab meant removing their write access altogether, which blocked everything else they needed to do there. An administrator can set a project form’s Resources tab to Restrict in the form builder; Add and Delete are then disabled with a tooltip in every grid in that tab, while uploading, downloading, reviewing, and editing stay available.

Start a project from the assets you have selected

2026-09-07 Content Portal

You can now start a project straight from an asset list, with the assets you selected already added to it. Select assets and choose Create New Project in the actions bar, enter the name, type, destination, and dates, then select View to open the new project with those assets in its All Items tab.

2026-09-07 Content Portal

An asset’s details panel gave no sign of whether other assets were related or associated with it, and no way to get to them. A Related Assets section at the bottom of the details panel, in portal asset lists and Platform Administration > Assets, shows how many related and associated assets there are; select a count to browse, search, filter, and download them.

Fixes (11)
  • Collaboration Hub In the My Reviews and All Reviews lists, long review and project names were cut short; they now wrap so the full name is visible.

  • Collaboration Hub In the upload dialog for a deliverable, a long type name overlapped the file size and progress bar; it is now shortened, with the full name in a tooltip.

  • Collaboration Hub When editing an asset in a project, a long asset name was cut off with no way to read it in full; hovering over it now shows the whole name.

  • Content Portal The Transform action showed on every asset in portal asset lists, including assets with no public URL that could not be transformed; it now appears only where it works.

  • Collaboration Hub Taxonomy values added to a project at the stage it was leaving did not appear in the Project Details panel until you refreshed the page; they now appear as soon as the project moves on.

  • Collaboration Hub In a brief, a required yes/no field left unticked was not flagged when you selected Continue; it is now flagged like other missing required fields.

  • Collaboration Hub In Safari, changing the date of a milestone lower down a long list scrolled the page back to the top; your position is now kept.

  • Collaboration Hub MOV files previewed in a project played sound but showed no picture, in the large preview and the deliverable picker; the video now displays.

  • Collaboration Hub A new sub-project’s brief could show as already signed off when its parent project’s brief was complete; it now shows its own sign-off status.

  • Collaboration Hub A deliverable’s brief summary left out taxonomy values, such as a chosen language; they now appear.

  • Content Portal In My Content, the digital adaptations page sometimes loaded without its Completed, In progress, and Batches tabs, leaving no way to move between them; the tabs now always load.

August 2026

Save progress on a brief before it is complete

2026-08-24 Collaboration Hub

While you filled in a brief, the Fields tab would not save until every required field had a value. Save Progress now saves the brief as it stands, and Continue either takes you to the first missing required field or, when all are filled in, saves and moves to the next tab.

For further information, refer to Create a brief.

See which deliverables have been AI-tagged

2026-08-24 Collaboration Hub

A project’s deliverable grid gave no way to tell whether an asset had been through Smart Tagging, or whether tagging had worked. Select View by Tag Status > Smart Tagging on a deliverable grid to show a status pill on each asset: Not Submitted, Submitted, AI Tagged, Failed, or Invalid; an administrator enables the statuses for each deliverable grid.

Save a project’s fields at any time

2026-08-14 Collaboration Hub

Outside the brief, a project’s Fields tab would not save until every required field was filled in, so partly completed work was easy to lose. Confirm Changes is now Save Progress, which stays available and pinned to the bottom of the form; you are prompted to save if you navigate away, and required fields are still enforced when the project moves to its next workflow stage.

For further information, refer to Create a brief.

Lock the deliverables list at stages where it should not change

2026-08-14 Collaboration Hub

Stopping people with write access from adding, duplicating, or deleting deliverables meant removing their write access entirely, which also stopped them editing deliverables. An administrator can set a project form’s deliverables tab to Restrict in the form builder; at that stage Add Deliverables, Duplicate, and Delete are disabled with a tooltip, while editing stays available.

Uploads to a deliverable move straight to the right state

2026-08-14 Collaboration Hub

When you upload a placeholder file to a deliverable, it can now take on a preferred state automatically and show the specification fields that state needs. Upload against a deliverable in a project’s Populate tab; an administrator sets which state an upload receives.

Show a rotating set of images or videos at any size

2026-08-03 Content Portal

Showing a rotating set of images or videos meant the Carousel widget, which always spans the full page width, takes more setting up, and crops media when resized. Add the new Gallery widget to a grid, choose your images and videos, and resize it freely in width and height so it sits alongside your other content.

For further information, refer to Add widgets to a CMS page.

Approval is enforced before adaptations can be downloaded

2026-08-03 Content Portal

Users with access to both Portals and Adaptation Studio could download a digital adaptation from My Content even when their workspace required it to be approved first, sidestepping that control. When the workspace requires approval, the download action on an unapproved digital adaptation in My Content > Digital Adaptations is disabled, with a tooltip, until its review status is Approved.

Guest sharing lists only the users in your domain

2026-08-03 Content Portal

When adding guest users to a share, the selection list also included actors from parent domains, so people from outside the intended scope could be picked. The guest user list in the Create Share dialog now shows only actors from the active domain and below.

For further information, refer to Download and share assets.

Fixes (6)
  • Collaboration Hub The search field in a project’s breadcrumb showed a raw text key instead of placeholder text; it now shows the correct text.

  • Collaboration Hub Assets already in an active review could be added to a new draft review; they are blocked again with a warning, and you can continue with the remaining assets.

  • Content Portal Some MOV video files (Apple ProRes) failed to preview in portals and fell back to a still image; they now preview correctly.

  • Content Portal Fixed a drag-and-drop display issue with folders in asset administration.

  • Collaboration Hub Creating a review from the All Items tab of a deliverable grid failed; you can now create one, and a mixed-schema selection is named "Multi Type Review".

  • Collaboration Hub Names containing an ampersand displayed a raw HTML code instead of the & character (for example in schema and taxonomy names); the ampersand now displays correctly.

July 2026

Reviews you have finished drop out of your to-do lists

2026-07-30 Collaboration Hub

A review stayed in My Reviews and attention-based lists after you had completed your part, until the whole review closed. My Reviews under Adaptation Reviews and Project Reviews, lists with Requires my attention turned on, and the Requires my attention filter now show only reviews that still need something from you at the current stage.

For further information, refer to Create and run a review.

Stop direct uploads to a deliverables grid at chosen stages

2026-07-30 Collaboration Hub

There was no way to stop people uploading straight into a deliverables grid at particular stages, for example where deliverables should come through the deliverable picker instead. An administrator can set a project form’s deliverables grid tab to Restrict in the form builder; Add and Delete are then disabled with a tooltip in every grid in that tab, including All Items, while downloading, reviewing, reverting, and editing stay available.

Edit deliverable details without scrolling sideways

2026-07-30 Collaboration Hub

Editing a deliverable’s fields in a brief’s deliverable picker meant scrolling sideways, and long names and values could spill out of their boxes. Fields now sit in an aligned grid with no horizontal scrolling, long deliverable names are shortened with the full name in a tooltip, and long text and multi-select values stay inside their fields.

See all of a project’s assets in one tab

2026-07-29 Collaboration Hub

A project’s Resources tab showed assets one schema at a time, so there was no single place to see and manage them all. An All Items tab now appears first in the Resources tab, even before any assets are added, with every asset action, a Schema filter, and the upload options for each schema.

Go straight to the deliverable holding up a stage change

2026-07-29 Collaboration Hub

When a workflow stage change was blocked by empty required deliverable fields, you had to hunt for the deliverable that needed attention. Selecting a transition in the workflow panel now also takes you to the first deliverable with missing required fields, in briefing and non-briefing stages.

Draft reviews open ready for you to add reviewers

2026-07-29 Collaboration Hub

Opening a draft review gave little sign that reviewers needed adding, and editing them took an extra selection. If you can edit reviewers, a draft review now opens with its first stage in edit mode; later stages stay read-only, and Start Review stays disabled until you save the first stage.

Review invitation emails take you straight to the review

2026-07-23 Collaboration Hub

In workspaces where people sign in through the portal, the links in review invitation emails led to a separate sign-in page they could not get past, so they could not reach the review. Platform users now get Go to Review and Go to Project, signing in first if needed, while people without a platform account get Go to Review, which opens Review Studio directly; Go to Project appears only when the review belongs to a project, and an administrator sets up the emails for each workspace.

Share a project’s details as a PDF

2026-07-21 Collaboration Hub

You can now export a project’s fields to a PDF to share with people outside the platform. Expand the Project Details panel, select Export Fields, choose Export All Fields or Export Current Fields, then select Generate File and Download File; only fields with a value are included, and an administrator sets up which options are available.

Assign a whole group to a project role

2026-07-21 Collaboration Hub

Role pickers set up to keep groups whole did not work in project forms, so a group could not be picked as a single entry. When an administrator turns off Resolve Groups to Users for a role picker in the form builder, you can select the group itself alongside individual users; with it on, the group expands so you pick its members.

Send each viewer to a page they can open

2026-07-20 Content Portal

An internal link had to target one specific page, so in portals where pages are restricted by user group, some users followed a link to a page they could not open. When configuring an internal link on a widget, you can now leave the Page field empty to save a portal-only destination, and each viewer is routed to the first page in that portal their permissions allow.

For further information, refer to Add widgets to a CMS page.

Publish content-heavy pages without the wait

2026-07-20 Content Portal

Publishing a CMS page packed with widgets used to take several seconds, with the longest waits on pages carrying 100 or more widgets. Publishing is now several times faster with no change to how you work: a page with over 100 widgets that took around 3.3 seconds now publishes in under 0.8 seconds.

Tell print and digital adaptations apart in My Content

2026-07-20 Content Portal

In My Content > Files, a promoted adaptation gave no easy way to tell what kind of output it was: a digital adaptation, print adaptation, print batch, or transformation. Select an asset to open its details panel, where a new Source field under Type names the output type.

Asset counts in Shares now match everywhere

2026-07-20 Content Portal

The asset count shown in the Shares listing did not match the count in the delete confirmation, which was confusing when managing shares. Both now show the active asset count, and the listing column is labelled Active Assets so it is clear what is being counted.

For further information, refer to Download and share assets.

Refer back to the brief at any stage

2026-07-09 Collaboration Hub

Once a project moved past its briefing stage, the brief entered there was no longer visible. A Brief tab now appears as the top tab in later stages of projects that have a briefing stage, showing the same information as the Brief Summary tab.

For further information, refer to Create a brief.

Find the deliverable details still missing from a brief

2026-07-09 Collaboration Hub

Selecting Continue in a brief’s deliverable picker with required fields still empty collapsed every deliverable, so you had to reopen them to find the gaps. The first deliverable with missing required fields now opens automatically with those fields highlighted, and the others stay collapsed.

Choose how project search widgets combine search terms

2026-07-09 Content Portal

You can now choose whether searches from a project search or project listing counter widget match all of the search terms, any of them, or let people choose. In the widget’s settings, keep And, Or, or both under Search Operator; with both, people pick the operator in the search field, and the first one listed is the default.

For further information, refer to Add widgets to a CMS page.

Deliverable placeholders show a thumbnail

2026-07-09 Collaboration Hub

Each deliverable placeholder now shows a default file thumbnail, matching the preview of an unpopulated deliverable. The thumbnail appears in the deliverable picker dialog and list, and you can preview it in the deliverable list and the deliverables section of the Brief Summary tab.

Find projects by more than their name

2026-07-02 Collaboration Hub

Searching a project list matched only project names, and only the exact term. Choose Search All (and) to find projects matching every term or Search All (or) to find projects matching any term, across ID, reference, name, affiliates, fields, and taxonomy values, including close matches; each project list page’s settings decide which options it offers.

See all of a project’s deliverables in one tab

2026-07-02 Collaboration Hub

A deliverables grid showed deliverables one schema at a time, and a schema’s tab appeared only once it had deliverables. An All Items tab now always appears in a deliverables grid with at least one deliverable schema, listing every deliverable together, and Add Deliverables offers the upload options for every schema.

Filter My Content files by where they came from

2026-07-01 Content Portal

My Content > Files gave no way to show only the files that came from a particular kind of output. Use the new Source filter to show Digital Adaptation, Print Adaptation, or Print Batch files; for a promoted print batch output, View Source opens its batch with the output selected.

Delete shares you no longer need

2026-07-01 Content Portal

Shares could not be deleted, so the shares list filled up with ones that were no longer relevant. In My Shares, select Delete from a share’s menu, or select several shares and choose Delete in the actions bar, then confirm.

Fixes (13)
  • Content Portal Saving a CMS page could fail when a widget reused a button that was already used elsewhere on the page; pages now save, and a button can be reused across widgets, pages, and versions.

  • Content Portal Downloaded print adaptations were named with a UUID instead of their assigned name; downloads now keep the correct filename.

  • Collaboration Hub In a project’s Collaborators tab, the add, edit, and remove actions appeared for people without write access, and saving then failed with an error; the actions now appear only for people who can edit the project.

  • Collaboration Hub Selecting Close in Review Studio led to a page-not-found error; it now returns you to the reviews list.

  • Collaboration Hub The Brief tab did not show every field completed in the brief, and moving a project to a new stage opened the Brief tab instead of the stage’s first tab; all completed fields now show, and you land on the first tab.

  • Collaboration Hub In the deliverable picker, selecting Continue with required fields empty did not open the first deliverable with missing fields when every accordion was collapsed; it now opens it either way.

  • Collaboration Hub Project forms showed every display field, including empty ones, leaving gaps in the form; only display fields with a value now appear.

  • Collaboration Hub People with only monitor access to a review saw the controls to edit reviewers once the review was active or aborted; they can still view the review, but the edit controls no longer appear.

  • Collaboration Hub When adding reviewers to a review, the picker listed users from domains above your own; it now lists only your domain and below.

  • Collaboration Hub In the deliverable picker, uploading, duplicating, or deleting a deliverable in a lower accordion closed it and jumped to the top accordion; you now stay where you were working.

  • Content Portal The project list page created with a new project portal had settings that could not be changed; all of its settings can now be edited.

  • Content Portal In a project list page’s settings, clearing the project type to None left the previously selected project states filtering the list; they are now cleared too.

  • Content Portal In My Content > Files, a file’s review history links were broken; they now open the review’s details.

June 2026

Create batches of print adaptations from a portal

2026-06-22 Content Portal

You can now generate a whole batch of print adaptations from a fusion template in a portal by uploading one data file. On a print templates list page, select Create Batch from a fusion template’s actions menu or details panel, enter a Batch Name, and upload the completed data file; View Batch opens the batch in My Content > Print Adaptations, where you can browse its generated outputs and Promote them to Files.

For further information, refer to Browse templates and create adaptations.

Brief one-day projects with the right dates

2026-06-17 Collaboration Hub

A project’s end date had to fall after its start date, so a project that started and finished on the same day could not be given its real dates. Choose the same Start Date and End Date in the Create New Project dialog or the Project Details panel, and the project runs from the start to the end of that day.

Find projects by owner

2026-06-17 Collaboration Hub

Project list pages now show who owns each project and let you narrow the list to one owner’s projects. A new Owner column on top-level and sub-project list pages shows the first owner, with an icon whose tooltip lists all owners; to filter, open the filter menu next to the search field, expand Owners, and select an owner.

Replace a URL uploaded to a deliverable

2026-06-17 Collaboration Hub

Project owners and editors can now replace a URL that has already been uploaded to a deliverable in the Populate tab. Select Update URL below the deliverable, enter a new name and URL, and select Upload; where a deliverable accepts both files and URLs, choose Update URL Upload or Update File Upload from the menu.

Choose whether an upload renames the deliverable

2026-06-17 Collaboration Hub

You can now decide whether uploading a file or URL to a deliverable replaces the deliverable’s name. The file and URL upload dialogs in the Populate tab have an Apply File Name toggle (Apply URL Name in the URL dialog), on by default, that renames the deliverable to the name in the dialog; turn it off to keep the existing name.

Get guidance on users and lenses from Platform Administration

2026-06-17 Content Portal

Administrators can now go straight from the screens where they manage users and lenses to guidance on doing so. In Platform Administration, select the Learn More link in the Users or Lenses header to open the matching Storyteq Learn page.

Publish and promote actions appear only when you have a library for them

2026-06-16 Content Portal

My Content offered Publish to DAM and Promote even to people with no library to send files to. In Files, Publish to DAM appears only if you have access to a DAM library; in Digital Adaptations, Promote appears only if you have access to a library for promoting into My Content, and Download is offered instead when you do not.

Tell a tab’s label and title apart when editing a tabset

2026-06-16 Content Portal

The field for the name shown on a tab was hard to tell apart from the tab’s title in the tabset settings. Tabset settings and each tab’s settings now have separate Label and Title fields: Label sets the name shown on the tab, and Title names the tab in its toolbar and in Page Layout.

For further information, refer to Add CMS grids and carousels.

Find a batch from a digital template’s details panel

2026-06-16 Content Portal

You can now search the list of batches in a digital template’s details panel. Open the template’s details panel, select the Batches tab, and type a batch name in the search field to filter the list as you type; the search is case-sensitive.

Build brand portals with the same pages and widgets as content portals

2026-06-16 Content Portal

Brand portals could not include asset list pages or the asset and template widgets that content portals offer. You can now add asset list pages to a brand portal, and use Asset Grid and Asset Search widgets for assets, print templates, and digital templates on its CMS pages, with Asset Link, Print Template Link, and Digital Template Link actions.

For further information, refer to Widget reference.

Let help portal visitors download and preview assets from widgets

2026-06-12 Content Portal

Widgets on help portal CMS pages could only open links, unlike widgets in dashboard, content, brand, and assets portals. In a widget’s settings on a help portal page, the Widget Interaction menu now offers Download Assets and Preview Assets, so visitors can get guides and videos without leaving the portal.

For further information, refer to Add widgets to a CMS page.

The Files tab appears only when you can use it

2026-06-12 Content Portal

My Content now matches its tabs and print adaptation actions to the libraries you can access, so you see only the options you can use. If an administrator has given you access to at least one library with a User target, Files appears and print adaptations offer Promote and Delete; otherwise Files is hidden and print adaptations offer Download and Delete.

Reuse a template’s earlier batches instead of starting from scratch

2026-06-09 Content Portal

Digital template list pages gave no view of the batches already run against a template, so building a similar batch meant starting again in My Content. Select a digital template to open its details panel, where a new Batches tab lists every batch run against it by any creator; select Copy and Edit on a published batch to edit a copy and create it as a new batch in My Content > Digital Adaptations > Batches.

For further information, refer to Browse templates and create adaptations.

Sending files to channels is now labelled Send

2026-06-09 Content Portal

The action for sending files to connected channels in My Content > Files was labelled Distribute, which did not match the wording used elsewhere in the platform. The action is now Send, the channel filter and the details panel history are labelled Sent To Channels, and the send dialog uses the same wording throughout.

Style tabsets to match the rest of the page

2026-06-03 Content Portal

Tabsets arrived with no style settings, so the tab bar and its container always looked the same. In the tabset’s settings, the new Styles tab sets the gap between tabs, aligns them Left, Centre, Right, or Stretch, gives the container a background colour, image, or video, and rounds its corners together or one at a time; select the bin icon on a setting to reset it.

For further information, refer to Add CMS grids and carousels.

Fixes (4)
  • Collaboration Hub Site navigation broke in workspaces whose project list page did not use the URL projects; navigation now works whatever URL a project list page uses.

  • Collaboration Hub In project forms, fields shown or hidden by a yes/no field only responded after you saved and refreshed the page, and changing a saved answer broke them; they now respond as soon as you change the answer.

  • Content Portal In My Content > Digital Adaptations, deleting an in-progress adaptation left the In Progress count and the progress message on the Completed tab unchanged; both now update straight away.

  • Content Portal In Platform Administration > Assets, closing the Publish to DAM dialog after transforming an asset left a loading indicator on screen; it now clears when the dialog closes.

May 2026

Add tabs from the page and use any grid widget inside them

2026-05-29 Content Portal

Tabs in a tabset could only hold the same limited set of widgets as a carousel, and adding a tab meant going through the settings panel. Select a tab and choose + Add Tab at the bottom of the tabset to add a tab at the end, drag the handle beside it to resize only that tab, and add any widget a grid supports in your portal type; every tab now needs a name before the page can be published.

For further information, refer to Add CMS grids and carousels.

Download adaptations straight from your My Content lists

2026-05-29 Content Portal

You can once again download adaptations directly from the digital and print adaptation lists in My Content. Download a single digital or print adaptation from its actions menu, or select several digital adaptations and download them together from the actions menu at the top right.

Let chosen groups edit one portal without access to the rest

2026-05-27 Content Portal

Letting someone edit a portal’s pages used to mean giving them the portal creator role, which also let them see and manage every other portal. In a portal’s Settings, under Portal Permissions, select Permissions, then + Add, choose a user group, and give it view or edit access; members of an edit group can use the CMS page editor and manage that portal’s navigation, and groups already assigned keep view access.

For further information, refer to Add and manage portals.

Break up long portal pages with tabs

2026-05-26 Content Portal

A content-heavy CMS page used to stack every grid into a single long scroll, with no way to group related sections together. Select + Add Section, then Tabset, to host several grids as named tabs, each keeping its own layout, styling, and widgets.

For further information, refer to Add CMS grids and carousels.

Export data for every asset in your results, not just a selection

2026-05-15 Content Portal

Exporting asset data from Platform Administration > Assets used to require selecting the assets first, so a large export meant selecting page by page. Expand Add Assets in the top actions bar and select Export Data, then confirm to download a spreadsheet covering every asset in the current results, with your search and filters applied.

For further information, refer to Tag and edit asset metadata.

Limit re-versioning to people who can edit assets

2026-05-15 Content Portal

The Reversion action in Platform Administration > Assets was available to anyone who could open the asset list, whatever their other asset permissions. It now appears in an asset’s actions menu only for users with the edit assets permission, in line with the other asset actions.

See asset details alongside previews on CMS pages

2026-05-13 Content Portal

Previewing assets from a CMS page widget showed the asset on its own, without the details panel you get when previewing from an asset list. On a published page, selecting a widget set to preview assets now opens each asset with its details in a right-hand panel, including See Versions, and Previous and Next move through the configured assets.

Control which asset actions each person can use in administration

2026-05-06 Content Portal

Anyone with access to Platform Administration > Assets could add, download, move, edit, and delete every asset there. Each of these actions now follows its own permission, set by an administrator, with Import Data following the edit permission, and any action a user lacks permission for is hidden from the asset’s actions menu and the top actions bar.

Fixes (6)
  • Content Portal Opening a site from a portal sometimes took you to a different site or page when the site’s top-level page was an empty container; you now arrive at the first page in that site you can view.

  • Content Portal Sites listed alongside portals in the navigation appeared even when you could not view any of their pages; a site now appears only if you can view at least one of its pages, and a portal group is hidden when it holds nothing you can open.

  • Content Portal A portal with no user groups set in its permissions was hidden from everyone except administrators; with no groups set, every user in the workspace can now see it.

  • Content Portal In a portal’s navigation settings, changing a new page from a CMS page to a listing page before saving failed with an error and the page was not saved; the page now saves.

  • Content Portal Publishing a CMS page could give the new version the same label as an existing one, so versions were hard to tell apart; each new version is now labelled with the date and time it was created.

  • Content Portal In a share, long asset names were cut off with no way to read the full name; the full name now appears in a tooltip.
